Deepak Sharma, APN, is an advanced practice nurse and nurse practitioner at Suburban Medical & Wellness Center in Schaumburg, Illinois. Deepak is dedicated to providing patients with high-quality, professional, and compassionate care.

A learning enthusiast, education has always been of importance to Deepak. He began his studies at Elgin Community College (ECC) in Elgin, Illinois, where he earned an Associate Degree in Nursing. 

Next, he attended the University of Wyoming (UW) in Laramie, where he obtained his Bachelor of Nursing (BSN). In 2019 he achieved his Master of Nursing (MSN) from United States University (USU), a private university in San Diego, California.

Deepak has extensive experience in the health care industry. He has worked as a Pharmacy Technician, an LPN and RN at Alden Valley Ridge Rehab and Nursing Center, an RN at Macneal Hospital, and a per dm Tele RN at Medical Staffing Network.

Deepak has also worked as a Medical Surgery and Ortho Charge RN at St. Alexian Medical Center, where he became skilled in taking care of post-op patients and inputting post-op orders. As a charge nurse, he provided excellent nursing care to patients by utilizing the nursing process, administering IVs, starting PICC and central lines, changing dressings, and more.

At Metro Infectious Disease Consultants (MIDC), Deepak began working as a Part-time Infusion Nurse Practitioner in 2020. He supervised infusion therapy and administration of Intravenous Antibiotic and Chemotherapy.

He holds his BLS and FNP-BC certifications.

At present, Deepak is pleased to be working at Suburban Medical & Wellness Center. He warmly welcomes all patients into the practice and looks forward to caring for them.
